Men's Soccer Recognized in National Poll

The Cayuga CC men's soccer program cracked the NSCAA National rankings this week at #17. The previously unranked Spartans are 6-1-1 on the season with their lone loss coming against nationally ranked Broome on the road. Cayuga later fought hard in a 2-2 tie against the NJCAA's #4 nationally-ranked Genesee….leading most of the game despite playing a man down for over 90% of the contest….before the Cougars netted the equalizer with 2:30 left in the contest.

The Spartans have a big matchup tomorrow against Erie…who at 10-2 are ranked #13 in the latest NSCAA poll ahead of Cayuga….and have been also nationally ranked by the NJCAA. Women's game starts at 2:00pm tomorrow….followed by the men's game at 4:00pm. Both games will be played at Emerson Field. If you need to get additional athletic exposure….women's volleyball also plays at 7:00pm in Spartan Hall after soccer games!
