Spartans Overwhelm MVCC on the Road

The men's soccer team travelled to Mohawk Valley CC for the final regular season match of the 2017 campaign. The Spartans beat the Hawks easily in a convincing 9-0 win in Utica. Sophomore Mikel Abando (Bilboa, Spain) led the offensive attack with another 3-goal game. Ander Echaniz (Deba, Spain) added 2 goals and also had 2 assists. The remaining 4 goals were scored by freshman Alex Blazquez, Diego Fernandez, Grant Stamp and Eduardo Olivide. Sophmore captain Paul Coyle (Glasgow, Scotland) added 2 assists for Cayuga. The Spartans now await their seeding for the upcoming NJCAA Region III post-season.
