Spartan Men Win Home Opener

The Cayuga CC men's basketball team won their home opener Saturday at Spartan Hall with a 88-78 victory over Hudson Valley CC. The Spartans had a balanced offensive attack with five players in double figures. Devin Morris (Buffalo, NY) led the way with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Messiah Brown (Bronx. NY) pumped in 14 points and had 3 assists. Nijuwan Smith (Syracuse, NY) had 12 points and 7 rebounds despite more foul trouble. Both JoJo Staton (Buffalo, NY) and Steven Glover (Harlem, NY) each had 11 points to round out the scoring for Cayuga.

The Spartans jump right back on the court on Sunday hosting another Region III opponent when they face the Adirondack Timberwolves at 3pm.
