Spartans Get Tough Win Over Columbia-Greene CC

The Spartan men's basketball team picked up their fourth consecutive victory in a 88-80 win over Columbia-Greene at home. Freshmen point guard Jojo Staton (Buffalo, NY) led all scorers with 22 points, while collecting 9 assists and 3 steals. Fellow freshman guards Messiah Brown (Bronx, NY) and Devin Morris (Buffalo, NY) chipped in with 20 points and 15 points, respectively. Sophomore Amir Stevens (Valley Stream, NY) scored all of his 11 points in the second half for Cayuga. The Spartans run their record to 4-1 on the season...and will enjoy their Thanksgiving holiday break...before returning to action on Tuesday 11/28 at Davis College.
