Women's Basketball Comes Up Short at Davis

Despite playing well offensively, the Cayuga CC women's basketball team dropped a 77-68 game in a non-Region III contest at Davis College. Gabby Bell (Syracuse, NY) led all Spartan scorers with 17 points. Loren Clifford (East Syracuse, NY) had a double-double with 13 points and had a team-high 10 rebounds. Michaela Tanner (Cayuga, NY) chipped in with 12 points and had 5 rebounds. Erica Helzer (Port Byron, NY) had a decent overall night with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Cayuga is now 3-3 on the season and head's up north this weekend for a return to Region III action with games at Clinton CC and North Country CC.
