Women Get First Conference Win Over Broome

The women's basketball team held on for their first Mid-State Conference win 47-43 in a defensive struggle with Broome. Gabby Bell (Syracuse, NY) scored 14 points and led the way offensively for the Lady Spartans. Loren Clifford (East Syracuse, NY) was the only other Cayuga player in double-figures with 11 points. Guard Michaela Tanner (Cayuga, NY) grabbed 10 rebounds. The team travels to Finger Lakes on Saturday for a matchup against one the the leaders in Region III.
