FLCC Outlasts Lady Spartans

Were it not for a very cold night from the free throw line...the Lady Spartans might have come away with a big win against one of the Region's better teams to date in Finger Lakes. Cayuga went 19-for-35 from the charity stripe, but still managed to stay right with the Lakers in dropping the 83-76 decision. Gabby Bell (Syracuse, NY) had a team-high 22 points for Cayuga. Jasmine Walker (Rochester, NY) chipped in with 19 points. Freshman forward Loren Clifford (East Syracuse, NY) had 13 points and 12 rebounds...while fellow freshman Michaela Tanner (Cayuga, NY) scrapped for another 10 rebound game. Next up the women face Tompkins-Cortland CC at home on Wednesday.
