Great Effort Spoiled by Lazers

The Lady Spartans jumped to a 25-9 first quarter lead over the talented Lazers...but Onondaga fought back in the second quarter to whittle the lead to only two. Cayuga played hard and kept it close...before a controversial technical foul was assessed to one of the Lady Spartans. Onondaga took advantage and kept their lead with an 88-77 victory. Loren Clifford (East Syracuse, NY) scored 22 points while collecting 8 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists in arguably her best game of the season. Guards Jasmine Walker (Rochester, NY) and Gabby Bell (Syracuse, NY) score 18 & 17 points, respectively. Emily Klock (Jordan, NY) led the team with 12 rebounds and also scored 8 points on the afternoon. The Lady Spartans head to Corning on Wednesday.
