Spartans Fall to Vkings in Home Opener

The Cayuga Community College men's basketball team started the 2019-20 season with a home opening loss to Hudson Valley 74-80. The Spartans were led by freshman guard Deonte Holder (Schenectady, NY) with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Scott Minnoe (Auburn, NY) and Stanley Beato (Bronx, NY) chipped in with 13 points apiece. The Spartans struggles from the charity stripe did not help...as the Spartans went 23-for-35 from the free throw line. Cayuga returns to action tomorrow, Sunday 11/3 against SUNY Adirondack with a 3:00pm tipoff in Spartan Hall.
