Lady Spartans Get First Victory of Young Season

After a sluggish first half, the Lady Spartans erupted for 48 second half points in distancing themselves from SUNY Adirondack en route to an 80-39 win. The win evens their record to 1-1 after the team's opening loss yesterday. Cayuga was led by Tanyea Jansson (Syracuse, NY) with 14 points and 9 assists. the pair of Sodus, NY freshmen Fatimaah Findley and Allaysha Grady scored 13 and 10 points, respectively. Jania Freeman (Auburn, NY) had a team-high 13 rebounds. The entire women's roster scored a minimum of 6 points each in the very balanced attack. The Lady Spartans return to action at home in Spartan Hall on Monday, November 11 against Roberts Wesleyan JV.
