What made you decide to attend Cayuga?

I decided to continue playing the sport that I loved, and continue my academics. Coach Borges recruited me, and talking with him and visiting the campus, I thought it was a good fit and the right environment for me.

What's the best part of being a student-athlete at Cayuga?

There are no distractions here. I highly recommend it for anyone who is trying to pursue basketball and continue their education. The professors are great, and Coach Borges pushes you to reach your potential. He will bring the best out of you, and so will the professors. And the tutoring services are great. All the tools are here to succeed. 

You're a second-year player on the team. How have you seen the team improve over the course of the season?

We went through some adversity earlier this year. We lost some close games and lost a few players. But I knew early on we had a good group who were going to work hard to reach their potential. Everyone kept their composure, and has kept their eye on the same goal of a Conference Championship and reaching regionals.

What part of your game has improved the most during your time at Cayuga?

Coach Borges helped me focus more on the importance of being a team player, and to keep working hard. That's really helped me grow more confident, learn more and be a better student of the game.
