Updated: NJCAA Cancels Spring Sports Seasons Due to Coronavirus

In response to the coronavirus, the National Junior College Athletic Association has cancelled the remainder of the spring sports season.

The NJCAA previously suspended athletic contests until Friday, April 3, but the announcement this week has ended the spring season. Cayuga Community College has also cancelled all practices at this time.

To prevent the spread of any viruses, Cayuga Community College has instituted enhanced cleaning measures on its Auburn and Fulton Campuses. Staff and students are encouraged to continue best preventive practices to best protect themselves and those around them. Both Cayuga campuses are restricted, and all classes have shifted to a distance learning model.
