Ending April Strong

            On April 16^th and 18^th the Spartans took on Hudson Valley Community College. The 16^th in a double header of one five inning game and the second seven inning game. The Spartans fell to HVCC four to fourteen and one to seventeen. On the 18^th the Spartans played two seven inning games. The Spartans won the first game eight to seven but lost the second one to five. 

            Next the Spartans took on SUNY Adirondack four times in a few days. On April 23^rd the Spartans played a seven and five inning game. The Spartans were able to win the first game eight to seven and lost the second four to fourteen. On the 25^th of April the Spartans won the first six inning game sixteen to four but fell the second game of seven innings five to eight.

            Mohawk Valley Community College was the last games for the Spartans in the month of April. The Spartans played a double header seven innings each. The first game was lost seven to eight and the second game was won seven to two. Legarretta, Jenkins, Gatewood, and Beach each had one run a piece. James Roeschlaub pitched all seven innings.
