Ending the Season Strong
The Spartans started the month of May with playing Mohawk Valley Community College in a double header. The first game was six innings and the Spartans swept MVCC ten to zero. TJ Baranick pitched all six innings and only allowed two hits the whole game. The second game was seven innings and the Spartans won five to three.
Two days later the Spartans took on Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a five and seven inning games. The first game the Spartans swept them twelve to zero. The second game the Spartans lost four to five. The next day the Spartans played FMCC in another seven inning game and won twelve to eleven.
The last series of games for the Spartans happened against Niagara County Community College. On May 11th the Spartans won the first nine inning game eleven to seven. Legarretta, Lupo, Gatewood, and Beach had two runs each. Micucci and Fasce had one hit each. Adam Lupo pitched 6 innings and TJ Baranick pitched three innings. Then lost the second zero to ten. On May 12th the Spartans ended their season in a seven inning game and lost two to ten.
