Awards rolled in this week for Cayuga Community College's Clay Target team's performance in the national competition.

The Spartans captured first place in the Novice Division in just the program's second year of competition, with several players also earning individual awards in divisions for their strong performances.

Coach Shea Beachner praised the team, saying the exceptional individual and team performances were the product of the effort they put in to improving throughout the fall.
