Men's Hoops Looks to Defend Mid-State Title

The 2012 defending Mid-State Athletic Conference champion Spartans will host Broome CC this evening in Spartan Hall at 6:00pm. The #3 seeded Spartans finished this year with a 7-5 record in the conference. Jared Donalson (Nottingham HS, Syracuse, NY) leads the Spartans in scoring at 13.8 ppg. Donalson and fellow big man Justin Staton (Freeport HS, Freeport, NY) are the top two rebounders in the conference with over 11 rpg each. Guards Delquan Holmes (Nottingham HS, Syracuse, NY) and Mikquan Donerlson (Fowler HS, Syracuse, NY) are among the conference's assist leaders. With some victories in the MSAC Tournament…the Spartans hope to secure another bid to the Region III Tournament.
