The Cayuga Spartans opened the 2013-2014 season playing against Dean College in the Roxbury Invitational in Boston, where they lost 109-76 to the Division II team. Cayuga was led by Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) and Joe Godette (New Rochelle, NY) both with 16 points, Terrence Santiago (Detroit, MI) added 13 points, while Kareef Rufus (Auburn, NY) helped with 10 points. Godette also pulled down 8 rebounds. The Spartans play against another Division II team Sunday, taking on Community College of Rhode Island for a 1 p.m. tip-off
