The Cayuga men's basketball team was unable to overcome a first half deficit, dropping 109-78 to Division II Niagara CC. Niagara raced out taking a 22-4 lead over the Spartans 9 minutes into the game. "We came out real flat tonight" says Coach Tony Borges. Cayuga was led by Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) with 18 points, and 5 rebounds, while Michael Guity (Syracuse, NY) added 16 points and Terrence Santigao (Detroit, MI) chipped in with 10 points. Cayuga gets back in Region III action Saturday at Clinton CC, and Sunday at North Country CC. The Spartans are (5-4 overall) and (5-1 in Region III).
