The Cayuga Community College men's basketball team suffered a 65-90 loss against Corning Community College. With the loss, CCC drops to 8-14 overall and 3-5 in MSAC. The Red Barons have now swept the season series against the Spartans, as Corning defeated Cayuga 89-78 on January 9th in Spartan Hall. "Hats off to Corning they played hard and shot the ball well, their intensity and energy was the difference as we didn't match either" says Coach Tony Borges. The Spartans were led by Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) with a team high 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals, while teammate Tyshaun Morris (Queens, NY) added 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.
