Cayuga Sweeps Broome

The Cayuga men's basketball team defeated Broome C.C. 84-77 on Saturday at Baldwin Gym.  With the win C.C.C. is now 9-15 overall and 4-6 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC).  The win also gives the Spartans the season series sweep against the Hornets, as Cayuga defeated Broome, 71-53 back on January 16^th in Spartan Hall.  Cayuga had four players scoring in double figures with Glenn Taggart (Rochester, NY) scoring a team high 22 points, he also dished out 3 assists, and 4 steals, Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY) also had 17 points, with 6 rebounds, 2 blocks.  Joe Godette (New Rochelle, NY) had a monster game with 16 points, 19 rebounds, with 11 of them being on the offensive end.  Cayuga will play its final home game Wednesday February 12^th at 7:30 against Finger Lakes.
