Freshman forward Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) had a double-double, 24 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals, and 2 blocks as Cayuga beat Finger Lakes 68-61 in Mid-State Athletic Conference action in Spartan Hall. With the win, CCC moves to 10-15 overall and 5-6 MSAC as the Spartans remain in the hunt of making the Conference Tournament. "I thought we played very well on the defensive end, we contested all shots and rebounded the ball. It was a good night, we had Sophomore Night and sent them out with a win in their final game played in Spartan Hall." Cayuga travels to Dryden as they play TC3. The game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. tip-off.
