Spartans End Regular Season Against TC3

The Cayuga Community College Men's Basketball team was defeated 72-93, by TC3 on Saturday afternoon, in its last regular season game.  The Panthers have now swept the season series over Cayuga, as TC3 defeated the Spartans 84-72, back on January 22^nd.  With the loss, CCC drops to 10-16 overall, 5-7 in conference, and 10-12 in Region III.  Cayuga was led by Glenn Taggart (Rochester, NY) with 16 points, Michael Guity (Syracuse, NY) added 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block.  "We didn't compete today, we had lack of intensity and energy, TC3 out hustled us and out played us" said Coach Borges.  Cayuga will face TC3 again Friday in the Mid-State Conference Tournament Semi-Finials as he Spartans get a #4 seed and TC3 #1 seed, tip-off is 5 p.m.
