Cayuga is Defeated by TC3

The Cayuga Men's Basketball team was defeated by TC3 in an up-tempo action filled semi-final game in the Mid-State Athletic Conference Tournament 102-108.  "You score 102 points, and still lose said Coach Borges, you would think that would be enough" (with a smile) says Coach Borges.  Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) led all scorers with 33 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block, while Glenn Taggart (Rochester, NY) pumped in 32 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.  Danny DeFranco (Auburn, NY) played a great floor game with 13 points, 8 assists and 1 steal, Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY) added 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block.  Kareef Rufus (Auburn, NY) also played great on the defensive end, chipping in 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 steal.  Cayuga is 10-17 overall, and 10-13 in Region III, they are set to play Onondaga Community College on Tuesday February 25^th at 7 p.m.
