The Cayuga Community College Men's Basketball team opened the 2014-2015 season Tuesday night falling to Division II Niagara C.C. 59-88. The Spartans were led by soph. guard Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY) with 15 points and 7 rebounds, while soph. center DaVaughn Johnson (Harlem, NY) chipped in with 11 points and 6 rebounds, and freshman guard Christian Rodriguez (Freeport, NY) posted 10 points and 8 rebounds in his collegiate debut.
Cayuga travels to Hudson Valley Saturday Nov. 8th for a Region III, Division III contest with a 3 p.m. tip-off.
