Cayuga Community College Men's basketball team posted its first win of the season as they defeated Schenectady C.C. 74-57 Sunday afternoon in Spartan Hall.  The Spartans defense was key in the victory.

Cayuga was led by Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY) with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, while DaVaughn Johnson (Harlem, NY) added 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block, freshman forward Derric Jordan (Buffalo, NY) chipped in with 10 points, and 7 rebounds.  The Spartans will return to action Saturday afternoon as they travel to Columbia-Greene C.C.
