The Cayuga Men's basketball team opened the Mid-State Athletic Conference play with a tough loss @ Corning 74-76. The Spartans had four players in double figure scoring led by Christian Rodriquez (Freeport, NY) with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, Danny DeFranco (Auburn, NY) and DaVaughn Johnson (Harlem, NY) each had 13 points, while Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY) added a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 block. Cayuga is back on the road again Tuesday January 13th at Jefferson with a 7 p.m. start.
