The Cayuga Spartans Men's basketball team traveled to Hudson Valley C.C. on Saturday afternoon and recorded its first win of the season. Spartan freshman Nijuwan Smith (Syracuse, NY) led the way with his first career double-double pumping in 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 block, Jon Bell (Auburn, NY) scored 12 points and added 5 rebounds, while Anthony Burgos (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Cayuga travels to Adirondack C.C. on Sunday with a 3 p.m. tip-off.
