Spartans Finish 8th at Nationals

The Cayuga Spartans struggled with the tough lane conditions to convert easy spares and ended up taking 8th at the NJCAA Nationals at AMF Airport Lanes.  The event was over the course of two days where the team bowled 3 doubles, 3 singles, 6 5 man team games, and 9 baker games.  The team was led by Brandon Gallagher (Poughkeepsie, NY) and Eric Hodson (Auburn, NY).  The Spartans were 5 pins out of 5th place by the last 3 baker games but failed to move up.  With the Spartans season, our top bowlers head to New Jersey to compete in the NCAA Singles Sectionals.  Good luck to Brandon Gallagher, Eric Hodson, Brandon Cecchini (Union Springs, NY), and Wyatt Hasty (Sherrill, NY).
