4th Quarter Comeback not enough for Spartans

4th Quarter Comeback not enough for Spartans

Cayuga lost its second game of the season today at Corcoran Stadium in Syracuse, NY.  The Spartans made a comeback in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as they lost to Herkimer 13-8.  Herkimer broke open a 6-4 halftime lead in the third quarter and it was too much for the Spartans.

Jaquan Royal (Syracuse, NY) led the Cayuga scoring with 3 goals while Connor Davenport (Auburn, NY) and Javier Zuniga (San Marcos, CA) each had two goals.

Mike McLaughlin (Auburn, NY) and Denzel Conze each played well on close defense.

Brad Rowe (Watertown, NY) had 10 saves in the goal for Cayuga.

Cayuga returns to action on Wednesday March 20th vs. Fingerlakes CC at Corcoran Stadium at 6pm.
