Javier Zuniga (San Marcos, CA) score on a right handed shot with two minutes left in the second overtime period to cap the Spartan comeback at Dean College on Saturday afternoon. Zuniga finished with 3 goals on the afternoon. Brad Rowe helped key the comeback with an outstanding day in goal which included 19 saves.
Cayuga was trailing by 4 goals with 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter and tied it with 5.1 seconds left in regulation. Mike McLaughlin (Aubur, NY) picked up a ground ball in the defensive end of the field and got it to David Lilly (Marcellus, NY) who fired a left handed shot to tie the game at 13.
Connor Wheeler (Marcellus, NY) led the scoring for Cayuga with 6 goals and one assist.
Cayuga's next contest is on Wednesday April 10th at Niagara Community College at 4pm.
