Cayuga Uses 10 Goal Run to Beat Niagara

Cayuga was trailing Niagara 4-0 at the end of the first quarter of play on Wednesday in a rain storm at Niagara Community College.  At the end of the third quarter the score was 14-6 in favor of Cayuga.  During the second and third quarters Cayuga socred 10 consecutive goals to take a commanding lead.

Mike McLaughlin (Auburn, NY) led Cayuga's scoring 4 goals on only 4 shots.  Connor Wheeler (Marcellus, NY) added four goals and two assists for the Spartans.  The other goal scorers for Cayuga were Javier Zuniga (San Marcos, CA) (3), David Lilly (Marcellus, NY) (3), Justin Stanton (Freeport, NY) (1), and Jaquan Royal (Syracuse, NY) (1).

Brad Rowe (Watertown, NY)  made 7 saves in the goal and Sam Gagliardi (Auburn, NY) made 3 saves in a relief appearance.

Cayuga returns to action on Saturday April 13th at Noon against #2 Nationally ranked Genesee Community College.
