Boxx Named Region III Player-of-the-Week
Congratulations to men's soccer player Jason Boxx who was named NJCAA Region III Player-of-the-Week for week of September 9th. The sophomore captain from London, England has helped the Spartans off to a 4-0-1 start to the 2013 season….including a 3-0 win over ranked Broome CC 3-0 this past Wednesday. Both the women's and men's teams return to action tomorrow, Saturday 9/21 when they host Jamestown tomorrow at 1 & 3pm.

Jason scored an individual effort goal, beating 5 defenders before putting it pass the North Country keeper to open his scoring for the season and Cayuga's first goal of two in Cayuga's win over NCCC. Not only did he score, but NCCC didn't get many chances in front of the Cayuga's goal because of his defending.
