Spartans Hang Tough Against Bryant & Stratton

Cayuga Spartans men's soccer lost on the road 3-1 at Braynt & Stratton College who is ranked 2nd in the Nation in the USCAA. The Spartans played a very good game, despite the final result, giving the Bobcats a run and putting them under a lot of pressure. The Bobcats scored first, but the Spartans responded well with Chris Barrie (Scotland) scoring his second of the season from a free-kick from 25 yards out, a goal that tied the game at 1 in the first half. Bryant & Stratton scored their second of the game with 7 minutes left into the first half, and a 3rd late into the second half from a corner kick. Next game for the Spartans is at home against Corning CC, Saturday - October 10th, at 3PM.
