DARREN WYNNE:

       Coach Darren Wynne enters his first season as Head Coach of the Spartans men's soccer program. He spent the last three years at SUNY Oswego men's soccer program as an assistant under Bob Friske. He also served as the goalkeeper coach for the men's and women's soccer programs. He assisted the Laker's to two post-season play-off trips.

       A native of Dublin, Ireland, Wynne began playing soccer at five years of age. He then started playing competitive soccer for Cherry Orchard F.C. from 7 to 18 years at one of Ireland's top premier soccer clubs. A former Irish U-15, U-16, and U-18 international goalkeeper, Wynne earned 27 appearances (caps) for his country at the youth level. He competed professionally for seven years in Ireland with the Sligo Rovers and Home Farm (Dublin City FC) in the Eircom National Premier Division and Division I Leagues (Airtricity League).

       From 2003-2005, Wynne had coaching stints with St. Alban's City F.C. mid-week youths team which played in the FA Youths Cup. He later accepted the assistant coaching position with the professional team, achieving great success and promotion into the National Conference's South Division.

       In 2005, he moved to the USA and began coaching at CNY United in Syracuse NY (now Empire United). He later went on to play for the semi-pro team that competed in the East region of the PASL Indoor League. He also coached at the state level for New York State West's ODP program for 3 seasons between 2007-2010. He was also a part of the coaching education staff for NYSW.

       Last year, saw Coach Wynne assisting in the day to day coaching of the Rochester Ravens W-League women's professional team. He coached the goalkeepers and field players for the Ravens. Darren is the head coach for the Empire State Games Men's Soccer Central team that won a bronze medal in the 2010 games in Buffalo NY. He is also in his second year as a USL National Staff Coach for the ODP National program. This year will see him coach at the prestigious IMG Academies in Bradenton Florida. Locally, Coach Wynne coaches at Empire United Soccer Academies, in Syracuse NY. He is the head coach of the U-16 Boys Blue and Red teams.

       Coach Wynne holds an FAI Senior Coaching License, a level 2 FAI Goalkeeping License, a UEFA B License from Europe's UEFA Federation, a National B License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and an Advanced Regional Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

       Coach Wynne lives in Auburn and has two sons, Eoin (3) and Niall (2).

      Coach Robie Robillard arrives at Cayuga Community College from Fulton City school district where he coached goal keepers for both the boys’ and girls’ teams. He brings 20 years of playing and coaching experience to Cayuga. A native of New Jersey, Coach Robillard has held many coaching positions within all levels of soccer across his extensive coaching career.  Starting with youth programs in New Jersey and continuing forward to this day as the Director of Coaching for Fulton Youth Soccer. He also currently coaches with Empire United Soccer Academy an active club with the US Soccer Development Academy system.

      Coach Robillard is also a veteran of the United States Army where he played soccer domestically as well as played international matches in both Korea and Japan, competing against teams from both the Korea National and Japan youth national circuit.

      Coach Robillard holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National C license, a USSF National Youth license, a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Diploma, and a NSCAA National Goalkeeping diploma. He has a BS in Criminal Justice and is currently working on his graduate degree at The Pennsylvania State University.

      Coach Robillard has 4 children Tanner, Madison, Isabella, and Carter. He lives in Fulton with his wife Lori.
