The Lady Spartans dropped 2 games to Genesee C.C. losing 7-1 and then 7-3. Katie Byrnes (Jordan, NY) went 1 for 3 with a triple, while Ali Short (Port Byron, NY) went 3 for 6 with one double and 3 stolen bases. Sam Shaheen (Union Springs, NY) went 4 for 6 with an RBI, while Libby Marsden (Weedsport, NY) went 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 singles. The Lady Spartans look to bounce back on Saturday May 3, when they face Fulton-Montgomery at Port Byron HS, first pitch will be at 3 p.m.
