Lady Spartans Offense Proves to be Successful

The Lady Spartans split today with the Lady Raiders of Fulton-Montgomery losing the first game 15-7, however the second game proved to be a whole different ball game winning 14-0 in 5 innings. Meghan Feocco (Auburn, NY) pitched her first complete game shutout sitting down 8 batters while facing 19 batters, Feocco gave up just 4 hits in 5 innings. Ali Short (Port Byron, NY) went 2 for 3 with 6 stolen bases for 2 games, while Katie Byrnes (Jordan, NY) hit her second career home run and went 3 for 5 at the plate. The win gives the Lady Spartans their 3rd win of the season while they look to close their season against Mohawk Valley C.C. on Sunday May 4, first pitch will be at 1 p.m.
