Lady Spartans Drop Tough Ones to Lady Lazers

The Lady Spartans travelled to OCC on Tuesday and dropped two tough decisions 6-4 and 8-3.  The Spartans outfielders had an outstanding game with excellent catches by Miranda McGloon (Waterloo, NY), Danielle Vuillemot (Auburn, NY), and Cassie Weeks (Weedsport, NY).  On the mound McKenzie Harris (Liverpool, NY) once again did a phenomenal job on the mound allowing her defensive to make the plays needed.  At the plate Harris went 3 for 7 including a double and an rbi.  Jamison Valentino (Union Springs, NY) and Vuillemot stayed disciplined and forced OCC's pitchers to take walks.  Brittany Husted (Baldwinsville, NY) went 3 for 6 and also pulled in one rbi.  Once again Nina Kowal (Auburn, NY) called a phenomenal game from behind the plate.  The Spartans host Niagara County Community College Wednesday at Port Byron first pitch is set for 3 p.m.
