The Cayuga Spartans traveled to Mohawk Valley Community College where they split their double header winning 3-0 and then losing 11-1. Stefanie Mitchell (Onondaga, NY) pitched an outstanding game and went 2-4 with 2 RBIs, while Miranda McGloon went 2-3,. The second game proved to be a different ball game as the Spartans struggled at the plate, and errors played a toll as the defense gave up 8 errors. The Spartans look to bounce back on Sunday as they face a tough Corning team.
