A terrible first 10 minutes proved costly to the Spartans as they fell behind 33-11 at the 10 minute mark of the 1^st half before eventually losing 81-60 at Herkimer County Community College. Miranda Charlton (Rochester, NY) led the Spartans with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Allison Chase (Weedsport, NY) scored 12 points and pulled down 6 rebounds and Shanna Shaff (Lansing, NY) scored 11 points.
