Even a great second half comeback was not enough as the Cayuga Lady Spartans dropped a hard fought 59-51 contest to visiting Broome Community College. Trailing by 20 points with 14 minutes to play the Spartans cut the lead to 7 but couldn't get any closer. Lakin Mueller (Central Square, NY) led the Spartans with 16 points and 3 steals while Maxine Williams (Jamestown, NY) scored 13 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. Cayuga is back in action on February 11th when they travel to Finger Lakes Community College.
