A cold shooting first half proved too much to overcome as the Cayuga Lady Spartans dropped a 73-42 decision to visiting Onondaga. Down 44-15 at the half the Spartans played much better in the second half. Maxine Williams (Jamestown, NY) led the Spartans with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Allison Chase (Weedsport, NY) scored 12 points and Kasey McGrath (Cortland, NY) scored 7 points, pulled down 9 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots. The Spartans finish the regular season at 10-15 and are awaiting news as to if they will receive a bid to the regionals.
