The Cayuga Lady Spartans could not overcome a slow start and dropped a 56-45 decision on the road to Broome Community College. The Spartans who trailed 18-8 after the first quarter were unable to put a dent in the lead. Samantha Relfe (Port Byron, NY) led the Spartans with 11 points, Lakin Mueller (Central Square, NY) scored 9 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and Najhea Thompson (Syracuse, NY) scored 8 points and had 5 steals. Cayuga plays host to Finger Lakes C.C. in their last home game of the season on Wednesday 2/10/16 at 5:30 p.m.
