The Cayuga Lady Spartans used two defensive stops in the last 30 seconds to hold on and win a thrilling game 69-67 against visiting Finger Lakes C.C. on senior night. Dontasia Britt (Brooklyn, NY) led the Spartans with 24 points and 9 rebounds, Maxine Williams (Jamestown, NY) playing her last home game scored 16 points, had 11 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Lakin Mueller (Central Square, NY) also playing her last home game scored 8 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, dished out 7 assists, and had 4 steals. Cayuga is back in action Saturday when they travel to TC3 for a 1 p.m. game.
