Despite an incredible 30 point 15 rebound effort by Dontasia Britt (Brooklyn, NY) the Cayuga Lady Spartans dropped a hard fought 78-71 decision at Hudson Valley Community College. Jaylin Kelly (Bloomfield, NY) also chipped in with a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Spartans who led 36-35 at halftime were unable to hold the lead as foul trouble took a toll. Three players eventually fouled out before the game ended. The Spartans will look to rebound tomorrow when they continue their road trip to Adirondack Community College.
