The 2020-2021 basketball season will be Jim Alberici’s twenty-third season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Cayuga Community College.  Cayuga has won 262 games in Alberici’s twenty-two years with a school record 26 wins coming during the 2003-2004 season.  The team has qualified for the Mid State Atlantic Conference Tournament nine times and has won the conference Championship in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons.  The Spartans have qualified for the NJCAA regionals eight times and reached the Region III Championship game for the first time in school history in the 2009-2010 season.  They also reached the region Final Four in both 2003 and 2004.  With a number of quality returning players, and a great group of recruits, expectations for the 2020-2021 season are at an all-time high.
