Spartans Lose Tough One to Mohawk Valley

The Spartans lost to Mohawk Valley Saturday 11-1.  The Hawks were led by Victoria Reynolds…who scored first for the Hawks in the first thirty seconds of the first half and finished the game with a hat trick. 

It was a tough loss for the Spartans…who never gave up. They were able to score in the last fourty-nine seconds of the game on a Tia Segretto (Jordan-Elbridge) goal.  Segretto was able to dribble through several Hawks and strike a ball in the lower right hand corner of the goal for her second goal in as many games. 

The Spartans will hit the road to take on Jefferson CC on Thursday 9/15 at 4pm at the Watertown Fairgrounds.
