Segretto selected to NJCAA Region III All Star Game in Binghamton

Sophomore Tia Segretto was selected to participate in the NJCAA Region III All Star Game on December 16th, in the Greater Binghamton Sports Dome.  The game featured all of the top second year JUCO players from Region III and is a highly attended affair by most of the Northeast's NCAA Division II, III programs, as well as a handful of NCAA Division I programs.  "Bill Rich, head Coach of Broome CC, started this game a few years back to showcase the top talent from our NJCAA region.  It provides the ladies an opportunity to gain additional exposure from their accolades after their play at the club, high school and first two years of intercollegiate soccer at the junior college levels.  I have attended this game in the past and all of the participants are selected based on their capacity to playout their remaining two years of eligibility at the four year level.  I was not able to attend this year, but based on what I saw from our competition this past season, I know Tia garnered a lot of looks from all the programs present.  Her skill sets on the ball, combined with her field vision and ability to create scoring opportunities should generate letters and phone calls prior to the next college campaign.  More importantly, her 3.5+ gpa is what will standout and compliment her level of play," said Coach Renaud.
