The Cayuga CC Spartans women's soccer team allowed three early goals to the Lazers in a rain soaked first half at Emerson Field. As the weather improved during the second half…so did the Spartans. Freshman standout Michaela Breeze (Auburn, NY) added to her early career scoring sheet…scoring two second half goals in Cayuga's comeback bid. The Lady Spartans pressured the Lazer defense and had a number of opportunities just missing coming up with the equalizer. Keeper Cheyenne Rivenburg (Little Falls) settled down in the second half making some good saves and kept Onondaga from scoring.
Cayuga returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Niagara.
