Lady Spartans suffer a tough loss on the road Losing 13 to 0 to a strong Broome. Cayuga started strong holding the Lady Hornets to a slow first part of the first half for their high speed offense. Cayuga's defense held strong against a Broome offense but struggle as the game went on giving up 9 first half goals within 20 minutes.
Cayuga's best chance was a great run and inside shot from sophomore sensation Michaela Breeze(Auburn, NY) hitting the cross bar and bouncing out.
"Broome has a solid team and we held them strong for most of the first half." Coach Robillard said of his team, "We fought hard and had some great chances, I am proud of the team to working the full 90 minutes"
Cayuga is on the road again this Saturday against Jamestown.
