The Cayuga Community College Spartans got their first win at home tonight against the Davis College Falcons (25-12,25-19,25-16). Leading the Spartans was Katie Byrnes (Jordan-Elbridge, NY) with 11 kills and 2 point blocks. Supporting Byrnes was Erin Kirchner (Alberta, Canada) with 20 assists and 2 aces. Other outstanding performances came from Kayla Jones (Fulton, NY) with 5 kills and Kelsie Bennett (Port Byron, NY) with 3 digs. The Spartans are on a 2-match win streak heading in this weekend's NJCAA Region III Pod Play at Onondaga Community College.
